That would be awful.
He's not seen the job through!
Then again.
He never does, does he..
His agent will have him on Talk Talk soon, rabbiting on at all the job offers he's looking through...
Owen Coyle's very own Groundhog Day.

Two weeks after being sacked, Owen could well apply for the vacant post.
He's thick skinned enough.

About as easy kind of speculation story as you can get given their position.

We've considered it f****ng hilarious all season!

Re: Rumblings at Ewood...
Is this the ultimate definition of Karma, after ditching us getting fired from Bolton and them falling into oblivion, getting fired by Wigan and them falling into oblivion, getting hired by some no marks in america and leaving them bottom, then taking over at our nearest and not so dearest with them already in oblivion and getting sacked after continuing taking them even further down as we become one of the wealthiest, most stable and over achieving towns in the country?

Just Blackpool, Fleetwood and Morecambe left in these parts for the liar.
I doubt the last two are stupid enough though.

There'll be little gossip over the next few days, Nixon will have all on keeping up with the extra 'fud blocks'.
A derogatory comment about his precious Coyle and he goes into meltdown! There's sticking up for your mates and then there's Nixon's Coyle love in!

It still pleases me that the high-water mark of his managerial career was between May and December 2009.

Was inevitable really once Madame Rao found out they'd been relegated from the Premier League.
Re: Rumblings at Ewood...
There's always rumblings at Ewood, the amount of dodgy chicken consumed on those premises is enough to give anyone a dicky tummy.
Hopefully it's another false alarm and Coyle holds firm.

Re: Rumblings at Ewood...
The article really doesn't say anything.
Frankly, I think the Blackburn fans are being trolled. Give them a glimpse of hope (just like the owner of the NFL's Houston Texans showing interest) and laugh away as they get their hopes up.
I had heard that Coyle was on a three year contract and you would think that Venkys would be too cheap to buy him out.
No sure if the Venkys really have any plan, other than to balance the books, and don't care if the team is in the championship or league 1.

Plucking great news. I'd be eggstatic if "Under"Dunn got it and it would be a feather in his cap. What a cock up.

Warnock being linked, I can't provide a 'link' because it's not true.

Re: Rumblings at Ewood...
I really hope that they beat MU this weekend. For 1 it knocks out one of the favourites, 2 it might just keep him there longer and 3 it could mean that they aren't properly focussed for their cup final against the Brewers on te 24 Feb.
Re: Rumblings at Ewood...
He does actually have them competing in most matches, I don't think they will get anybody any better.
So yes, sack the turd.

Re: Rumblings at Ewood...
If anyone gave him a 3 year contract without clauses for failure then they are more stupid than I thought. Liar and busted flush. None of it will be his fault. Just needs to put a nail in the coffin at Blackpool and his tour of Lancashire might be complete.

I've noticed on brfcs the next protest is to raise a red card on 18 and 75 minutes against United. I bet the Roas are bricking it

Re: Rumblings at Ewood...
Noticed Moaninho at it again. Saying what a hassle April will be for them if they are still in FA Cup, CL2 and fighting for CL. Poor bugger.
Could he be setting them up to get out of the FA Cup? There's hope for us yet.

I hope they do manure, couldn't think of another club I'd rather meet in the final. If they want a fa cup final sell out and plenty of overtime for the met police, then Burnley v bstrds at Wembley is it.

Regarding the speculation as to who might come if Coyle is fired, anybody who wants a three year contract but only wants to work for a year. Warburton might take it. Maybe hes the reason this Coyle story is trending

Re: Rumblings at Ewood...
They will be running out of qualified people to take the managers job soon. Maybe we could take over if OC gets the sack, we could form a committee to pick the team and decide on tactics or lack of. We can just text the training session directly to the players eg do laps of the training ground or form teams of 5 for a kick about think of all the money we would save on coaches.

I wouldn't imagine Warburton is desperate yet, and let's face it you'd have be desperate. Perhaps a Lomas or a Jewell somebody like that maybe. It wouldn't be anybody whose had a modicum of success recently that's for sure.Stayingup wrote:Regarding the speculation as to who might come if Coyle is fired, anybody who wants a three year contract but only wants to work for a year.
