Apparently they're talking about the Venky's / Rovers today on everyone's favourite sports radio station.

Possible claims that some stuff about the Venky's & Rovers has been uncovered, but that's just going off what someone has said on FB.
i'm going to have a listen, could be good for a laugh if nothing else.

I know you aren't interested in a rivalry with Rovers, but others are.

I like listening, watching and seeing Rovers downfall. I had 20+ years of "banter"so I'm taking great pleasure in giving some back and having a good laugh at them.

The more it's played out in the media, the funnier it seems to get.

He's been on a different thread banging on about not wanting to go to Wembley and not being interested in winning stuff, or winning something that we can enjoy laughing at Rovers about, because he doesn't care about Rovers apparently.

First person I've ever stuck on my foe list, which is surprising really considering some of the people who've been on this board.

I just wish he'd go and be not bothered about Rovers somewhere else

I'm interested, the way they are building it up sounds like it could be full of revelations.

Mentioned the debt, £120 million, £87 million of which is owed to Venky's.
No mention of the Trust having to write off similar amounts, almost like that's a dirty secret they aren't allowed to mention.

Player sales generated £30-35 million, yet Coyle was only able to spend approx £500k over the last 2 windows.

Briefly mentioned the red card protest that's planned for the cup game.

They've got some corporate finance expert on who's a big Rovers fan, Ian Battersby?
He's got business experience with Venky's, from when he was trying to broker a deal between Venky's and another buyer / invester.

Claims deal broke down due to Venky's releasing that statement where they said they didn't want to sell.
Sounds like it was the deal where the local blokes wanted half the club and none of the debt.
They wanted to take over the running costs of the club and Venky's would stop having to put money in, but doesn't mention how their money would be repaid.
Not surprised they didn't want to finish the deal.

Ian actually went out to Pune in 2011, when Venky's were still looking at brand enhancement.

Surprisingly Venky's won't talk to Talksport either....shocking behaviour

Whinging about lack of communication from the Venky's, lack of clear plan etc.

Bemoaning the sacking of Sam, followed by the board leaving too.
Shebby gets a mention.

Kentaro - no one really knows their involvement by the sounds of it.
Lots of rumours, but nothing concrete has ever been proven.

Talking about how the FA fit and proper test isn't good enough.
They read out some of the requirements and nowhere does it state you need previous experience of being involved in football.

They never raised this when Abramovich rocked up though, it's almost like it doesn't matter in that instance.

They don't know who's making the decisions over in Pune, apart from one of the brothers possibly still has an interest.

£500k covers about 10 days running costs at the club Ian states, because that's what they think the club will make from the cup game.

Company will require significent funding in the summer to supplement the clubs normal income.

The presenters on talksport think the worrying thing is Rovers will enter administration as the next step.
(Not sure why that's a worry?)

Ah the trust gets a mention.
Asking why they sold to Venky's and the other presenter said it's because the Venky's had the money quite simply.
Still didn't mention the debt that the Trust wrote off.

(I didn't realise that an owner is allowed two efforts at running a club, 2 different ones, but not a 3rd if they make a mess of it)

Read out some tweets of thanks from Rovers fans who claim the club is being bled dry etc.

Talksport reckon they'll be able to get hold of the Venky's, which is impressive considering no one else can.

Presenters reckon the Venky's didn't understand Coyle's connection to Burnley and what the fans would think.
Also said Coyle probably didn't think he'd ever get the job, but took it because it was there, which is understandable.

They've reminded White when he called Rovers fans idiotic in the past.
He's now trying to deflect it back to the Venky's, not what he said.

I think it's the owner (or former owner) of Orient on the show, he sounds like abit of a half wit.

Now they're saying someone has made off with the transfer money and claiming it's in India.....

Rovers fan of 40yrs on the phone, a boycotter, his whole family have stopped going.
Claims the club is dying, being dismantled in plain sight and the media aren't saying much about it.

He's now asking why Venky's fired Sam, removed the board of directors etc.
He says the massive concern is the involvement of agents in the hiring/firing of managers, player recruitment etc.
He claims it's against FA rules, however the FA know it's going on but they're doing nothing about it.

Recruitment of players haven't been in the interest of the club, but they're done to benefit the agents.......that's nothing new is it?

Jim White is trying to portray himself as some sort of knight in shining armour isn't he?

The fan is querying who owns the club, mentions the iffy money trail from the sale of the club, something about Western Union bank in Bradford, money from the Cayman isles etc.
(sounds interesting and hilarious)

Jim White claims he will carry this crusade on after the show ends.

Jim White should start researching the facts before doing the show next time.

Does he know Rovers were under an embargo due to the massive overspend, they have sold players over the past two/three seasons to get the finances under control but he is alluding that they are asset stripping when even with the sales they are still losing a fortune.

Infact he needs to be careful about his wording, he could get himself in bother if he continues.

Jim White is far too full of himself...

The only bit of his show I enjoy is the Alan Brazil handover as its clear that they hate each other but still have to exchange pleasantries !

Ever since transfer deadline day got out of hand as Sky began to turn it into the f`in Oscars Ceremony Jim White started to believe in his own hype. When he joined Talk Sport when Colin Murray left that annoying shouting over the top style we had to put up with twice a year on sky is now dished out to the poor listeners every morning.

All he has done today from the sounds of it is embarrassed himself (again) and even better embarrassed B@stards
