Goal Difference

Post by CrispyClaret » Mon Mar 06, 2017 9:18 pm

9 clubs now have worse goal difference than us, assuming West Ham don't stage a comeback. By wednesday night it could be 10 clubs. Not bad for a team that loses away for fun.

You call that fun - I don't know what it was like on Saturday on the match - but on the match thread it was so bad people couldn't raise a smile when Derby went behind to Barnsley or Brighton losing to Forest

At least our GD means Hull will need an extra point

Don't think it will come to that well it shouldn't anyhow with our position. Yes its a advantage granted i will be surprised if at the end 2 teams are locked on pts & GD is the decider.

Not just important to avoid relegation, goal difference might be worth millions through our final league position.
