1 30 BUNK OFF EARLY has been my ante post selection for a few weeks now...love the way he travels and looking forward to this race....just hope the faster pace helps him settle...if he pulls hard it will be tough.

2 10 the fav ALTIOR is a deserved strong fav but I like FOREST BIHAN in the without the favourite market....2 runs ago he made my notebook when running a time much faster than anything on the card so I backed him last time at Doncaster....he made a mistake that day and had loads to do late to win...beating 2 of these in the process.....I noted that this horse was improving fast and certainly a 150 plus type...his rating today is 149 and is top rated barring the fav....9/2 or 5/1 without the fav appeals....and a teeny weeny bet at 33/1 to win.

2 50 SINGLEFARMPAYMENT....AND GO CONQUER....for those who like to play in running...a win bet pilgrims bay around 33/1 and lay off in running for a profit....travels like a dream...not sure he will get up that hill though...will be held up right until the last minute.

3 30 MOON RACER....don't like those at the head of the market and think this champion hurdle is a poor one...usually you need to be rated 160 plus....as brain power....petit mouchoir and yanworth are....that's usually where you stop looking for anything else....I think this trip and fast ground is not ideal for yanworth...brain power has plenty to prove including some sketchy hurdling and petit mouchoir in this field size on the ground is an unknown.
moon racer is only rated 148 as he has had injury problems which have stopped him from running in races to get up to the 160 rating but he has winning festival form on fast ground and has done nothing wrong.

4 10...well this is usually the willie mullins show....got to respect limini and vroum vroum mag but they are tight prices.
COLINS SISTER has been impressive all season...trainer has expressed concerns about fast ground but the sire is very much a fast ground sire...small ew bet for me at 33/1 betfair in the each way 1234 market...wouldn't be surprised if she ran really well or alternatively bombed out and looked after for another day.

4 50 BIGBADJOHN and BEWARE THE BEAR....will be laying edulf for a place if the ground is quick...he has a real knee action.

5 30 1TSAFREEBEE...think he has been laid out for this race and connections probably not to keen on winning the last 2 races to protect his handicap mark.

colins sister now a none runner...just watching the build up and they are calling the ground genuine good to soft...will see how the race times go....tomorrows message will be between 10 30 am to 11 30....loads to look at in the morning.

They haven`t had that much rain down there actually - my friend was on the gallops yesterday morning and he said it seemed good but that they were out watering it already. The best of the ground will be today as they do tend to water it more as the week goes on.
