The repercussions of the crazy world of football club ownership continues
Coventry have announced an intention to move out of the Ricoh home to WASPS rugby club to Butts Park home to Coventry Rugby Club, Coventry Bears Rugby League Club and get this Coventry United - the fans club started when Coventry switched to playing in Northampton.

surely the pitch cannot take that amount of punishment and be up to Football league standard - suspect that the Bears and United will be ousted if the planned development ever takes place - but anything could happen with SISU involved

Re: Coverntry planning move to .. er Coventry
Something that's puzzling me:
"Although more than 40,000 tickets have been sold for City's first trip to the new Wembley for the EFL Trophy final against Oxford United on 2 April"
They are averaging about 10,000 (I suppose there are boycotters just like at KFC) but are the owners "not owning" the club on 2 April?

Selective boycotting just like down the rd when Utd were in town for the FA cup. its a trip to Wembley which don't come around too often so can't really blame the Coventry fans for wanting to put it to one side for the game.

Wasps have done the rugby equivalent of MK Dons. Just wrong.

It's not so much that they've announced an intention to leave the Ricoh, they have no option and have to leave.
Boycott has been far from selective and the average crowd this season is under 9,000, not many more there on the night they won through to Wembley.
When these owners forced them to play their home games in Northampton they were taking big support to away games but hardly any to home games.

Boycott? 9000 doesn't seem bad for a club anchored to the bottom of the third division?
