Brexit and Euromillions
Brexit and Euromillions
I've got into buying Euromillions because of the millionaire raffle. I thought it was better than lotto but now I'm having second thoughts because with lotto there's now a millionaire raffle too, you need one less number to win the jackpot and it costs 50 p less per ticket.
So I've decided to do a lottery Brexit and just do lotto. As a final nail in the coffin of Euromillions, please could anybody tell me how Brexit will affect the dishing out of the dosh to 'good causes' like dishing out millions to Anish Kapoor and Anthony Gormley to make rubbish sculptures?
Does it go to Europe, the money? Will it still go there after Brexit, will there even be a Euromillions after Brexit?

I'm surprised that things such as the Postcode lottery is allowed to be advertised on tv. Isn't it still classed as gambling?
Sorry, I know it's not answering your question, just thought I'd put it out there

Re: Brexit and Euromillions
I thought I'd read in the past that there were some forms of gambling that had been banned. Having said that, I fast-forward through most adverts nowadays so maybe I've just missed them. It does raise the question though of whether they should be allowed. I don't think they should, going off personal experience.

WELL????? Nobody knows then.
Re: Brexit and Euromillions
I think you're safe - there are only nine countries in the euro lottery, not even the Germans.
