MK Dons 4-0 Manchester United
A great night for MK Dons and a disastrous one for United. Whilst LvG spat his dummy out and put pretty much his entire reserve squad on the market, Sean Dyche was quietly waiting in the wings ready to pounce.
Burnley now have one of England's finest centre halves at their disposal. His time with us may nearly be up, but it's hard to feel nothing but pride for Michael and the club at present.
Great times!

Manchester Utd only had De Gea and Evans from their strongest 11 at that time playing that night.

So are you saying that it is OK?mkmel wrote:Manchester Utd only had De Gea and Evans from their strongest 11 at that time playing that night.
I'd be appalled should we lose 4-0 to MK Dons, never mind one of the top sides in the country.

Would almost be as bad as losing to a non-league side

That was the night a very young Dele Ali ripped them a new one and LVG didn't act because he didn't rate him - a few weeks later Spurs agreed a £5m deal and left him at the club until the following summer

Times have certainly changed.
All Rovers fans go on about these days is defeats in cup competitions to Accrington and Lincoln.
Its all they have left, I can't wait for the #crapinthecup to become their only thing to attack us with

It was on a par with when we lost to Accrington Stanley in a cup game with just Sam Vokes in our starting 11 who was a regular starter at that time.MACCA wrote:So are you saying that it is OK?

It was basically our reserve team as it was Man Utd's reserve team.
Both defeats shouldn't have happened of course but that's what can happen if Premier teams put out a depleted team.
