According to what I read in the media, war is being bankrolled by art collectors who have paid good money to strip Syria and Iraq of their cultural assets AND YET...Nobody has ever named and shamed these collectors, in spite of a global network of intelligence.

Basically, several million lives have been lost so art collectors can have Asyrian sculptures in their gardens. AMAZING.

What's more amazing is no press coverage at all of such a thing. Now I'm all for the idea of 'no press coverage' regarding covert operations, but perhaps a world naming of them, by DONALD TRUMP perhaps, might move things on a bit.

Because that hasn't happened I'm a bit bemused.

OK leave it to them and another million dead for a stone carving?
