Further Premier league compliance costs?

Post by Spijed » Tue Mar 28, 2017 8:38 am

Assuming we stop up, will we have to do any more work to the ground and facilities within to ensure we comply with the PL?

Such as making the dressing rooms bigger, even more press boxes etc.

Depends on what Sky demand/request I suppose.

I'm just waiting for Sky to tell us to get rid of the wooden seats or make a bowl like stadium.

Newly promoted clubs often get some dispensation from the Premier League and we did in 2014. One of those was the size of the pitch which we then put in place ahead of this season. There are always additional things but if there is anything this summer then I doubt it will be much.

When do the improved disabled facilities have to be in place?

Irrespective of when they "should" be in place, I'll be a little bit sad if we aren't just getting on with it this summer. I read an article a few months ago that we are one of the worst in English football, in terms of providing these facilities. Low numbers, and very poor vantage points

We have to appoint a foreign manager within 3 years and have at least 50% none english speaking players within 4 years.

Unless Burnley is made a city by 2022, we will be deducted 10 points.

Unless we sell out to a consortium of foreign crooks and spend more than our income by 2020 will be banned from the PL forever.

Hopefully we don't have to add heating to away dressing rooms
