The Trip to Spain

Post by Walton » Thu Apr 06, 2017 12:23 pm

Coogan and Brydon return on Sky Atlantic tonight, at 10pm.

The previous Trips have been some of the funniest TV in ages, so can't wait for this.

With it being on at 10, straight afterwards it will have to be a case of to bed! for we rise at daybreak.

Shouldn't we be leaving at 8.30 for 9? And we rise at just after daybreak, so 7.30?

Just a shame that its moved to Sky Atlantic - which is still not available through Virgin.

I`ll be watching it on my firestick later in the week.

I can understand the BBC losing the likes of Bake Off in a bidding war but you think they would manage to keep The Trip. In recent years whilst they have managed to lose most of any decent sports coverage at least they have kept the best comedy and drama.

Anyway - its a brilliant programme and looking forward to it.

Just finished the second series after bingeing them on Netflix. Watched the first couple of episodes on TV when it first came out, didn't get it and gave up. Absolutely loved it on second watching. Italy was fantastic, hope they keep it up. Wonder if they'll go with an album soundtrack again? Jagged Little Pill was a really good touch.

Just watched 1st one of the new series on Sky (surprised to find full series on demand)

Quite an easy going opener and a v funny Mick Jagger bit all the usual stuff is there ,Coogsn doing elephant man is v funny too.One v minor thing noticed this series appears a little bit more scripted and even " film like" I think they released one of the previous series as a film in the US so maybe this is too. Excellent though and about to tuck into more

The first series (i think) was filmed around places in the Ribble Valley and the Lakes and was the best IMHO. Not got Sky so will miss out :x
