Re: Palace
Doubt it, Warnock, decent players who were injured and 'us' at home.
They play Hull in their last home game of the season, could be interesting. I think they'll survive.

Warnock !? Allardyce is definitely a Colin though.
Way too much pace and firepower to go down...if they win tonight I will want them to win the next two and be safe before we go there.

Think Palace are fine to be honest, between Hull and Swansea for the last place. Think it will be Swansea though.

I too would want Palace to win their remaining games before we meet them as on this form and if they are needing points we will get nowt from them.
Our next 3 games are real tough ones.

Blatant dive to win penalty seconds after Arsenal should have had a penalty at the other end. Hasn't taken BFS long to get them cheating.

Arsenal so need shut of Wenger.
Re: Palace
Did you not see their game with West Brom? A shadow of their former selves and a shame, from the invincibles to this shower. I say a shame because I don't mind Arsenal, they didn't buy a league title like Chelsea B*stards and City, not buying a title has left them miles behind City and Chelsea in recent years though.DAVETHEVICAR wrote:A bit like the situation at Leicester, players clearly not playing for the Manager."

Re: Palace
Probably, although I don't think it's been Wengers fault, I don't believe they've had a squad capable of winning a league title for years. You could say that's Wengers fault but I don't believe he's been backed like the others.cutsy123 wrote:Itl b announced tmorrow hes takin em on for a further 2 years

Love him or loathe him(and I think the guy is pretty much irredeemable), Sam Allardyce certainly knows what he's doing when it comes to beating the drop.

Re: Palace
nonsense, he's not been good for 15 years. He's signed plenty of players in that time and most of them are small technical players who clearly aren't suited to the Premier League in a team without any back bone

Yet he's got them top four every single season with a bunch of players not suited to the PL. It was 13 years ago since the invincibles and it wasn't a normal occurrence.
Of course you don't mind Arsenal, they play that pretty football you like, even though we all know that it's been ineffective for them.

This is the first season since he arrived that they're in real danger of missing out and Arsenal fans are behaving like a real bunch of dicks.

I hope when we play that football in the future it's just as ineffective for us and we get top four every season, multiple FA Cups and a few good runs in the CL. Ooops I forgot the 3 PL titles, they won 3 league titles in 7 years, it certainly wasn't out of the blue.Bin Ont Turf wrote:It was 13 years ago since the invincibles and it wasn't a normal occurrence.

Re: Palace
The problem is for Arsenal is that it's (Wengers philosophy) so ingrained into the system they can't adapt. Why does each player insist on passing it around the box 50-100 times before even thinking about a shot?KRBFC wrote:I hope when we play that football in the future it's just as ineffective for us and we get top four every season, multiple FA Cups and a few good runs in the CL.
It's now come to the point that Wenger is damaging the Arsenal brand!

Re: Palace
I thinks it's far more simple than that, when I look at their squad and then look at City's and Chelsea's I see why Arsenal don't challenge for a title. Top four is about fair when you consider sides on paper.Spijed wrote:The problem is for Arsenal is that it's (Wengers philosophy) so ingrained into the system they can't adapt. Re: Palace
maybe I didn't explain it correctly - he keeps signing the same type of players and you will never win the league with a team full of them - go back to his invincible team and look at that spine - it was incredible. He hasn't replaced any of them other than the flair players.KRBFC wrote:Yet he's got them top four every single season with a bunch of players not suited to the PL. Top 4 for Arsenal is **** all, they haven't made a serious challenge on the league for over a decade. Don't forget how much Arsenal fans pay for season tickets, I'd be seriously annoyed too if I was paying that much
