Bus Fare from Clitheroe

Post by bfcbri » Tue Apr 11, 2017 2:34 pm

Could someone give me an idea of a return fare from Clitheroe to Burnley by the M2 bus route as staying they over a weekend and need to travel to Burnley and want to check out the best way of doing it

I can find a train fare price but the bus takes about the same amount of time and just wondered what the cost is

Thanks UTC

I almost had to get a loan out to get a return from near Trawden to Burnley on the M3. Sure it was nearly a tenner or something. Ridiculous.

Think it's about £7 return

Public transport in Burnley and beyond is fairly naff. Costs way too much for the service you get. Hopefully it'll change when we become THE NORTHERN POWERHOUSE lol rofl lmao

It is about 7 or 8 quid for a day rover thing - cheaper than a return
Bus is a bit quicker than the train usually

9.50....bloody hell...seriously!!! It's only 3.70 return on the train to horse botherer-land!

With the bus stopping on route at 1962 1974 and 1981 before returning to 1956

Buses do have to make a profit ,at times the forum resembles Heartbeat :D

Never had to pay 9.50 . I think that one covers Yorkshire as well.
