Restricted View Everton
Restricted View Everton
Been doing some research on how poor the view is likely to be on my restricted view ticket. I might as well get blind drunk before the game and have a kip by all accounts.

Might not be a bad thing the way Everton are playing at home

Re: Restricted View Everton
Sounds like me at Chelsea in the cup game. The only restricted view was due to me being so leathered I couldn't see!!!Longsider wrote:Been doing some research on how poor the view is likely to be on my restricted view ticket. Happy days.

Re: Restricted View Everton
Last time at Goodson I was in the gladwys (sp) st end, and that wasn't a great view tbh. Didn't stop it being my favourite away ground tho...
Re: Restricted View Everton
I was late to the game last time v Everton and had to listen to the first 20 minutes or so on the radio. Put it this way, I knew more about what had happened in those 20 minutes than my mate did who was on time but in the lower tier....
Re: Restricted View Everton
I had restricted view tickets when I went the other year. Awful. Truly awful. We were on the back row of the lower tier and the top tier hangs down so far it gets in the way of your view!
It wasn't too bad when you were sat down, but given this was an away game and everyone stood up for 90 minutes that didn't really matter. As soon as you stand up the top tier takes your view away. You can see most of the pitch but you can't see the dugouts on the opposite side and you've no idea who has the ball on that half of the pitch as you can only see legs!! I found it embarrassing that Everton even sold the tickets.
I had a similar issue at Chelsea too. If you get stuck under a tier it takes so much away from the atmosphere and your enjoyment of the game.

Main problem with QPR is having to tuck your knees under your chin, there's socricketfieldclarets wrote:Is it as bad as qpr
little room, not the view.

Yes, must admit that's poor.
I was sitting more in the middle.

Re: Restricted View Everton
View is awful. I was right at the back lower tier. Like watching a large tv screen. However I still managed to see better than the ref that day. Called two key decisions he got wrong the right way. Their penalty and Barnes sending off if I remember correctly.

Re: Restricted View Everton
This is precisely why we wanted Upper tickets
People standing and the overhanging stand make seeing impossible.Yet we were expected to buy these useless tickets as Burnley ticket office wouldn't sell upper tickets alongside lower tickets.
This section of the ground is totally unacceptable as an away end
To sell restricted view tickets is in itself highly questionable and needs stopping.

The order in which away tickets are sold is set by the home team.Woodleyclaret wrote:Yet we were expected to buy these useless tickets as Burnley ticket office wouldn't sell upper tickets alongside lower tickets.
Can't blame Burnley ticket office for that

This was about 10 rows from back of lower bullen prior to kick off. The viewing window decreased somewhat at kick off, particularly when the bloke in front put his daughter on his shoulders!

Re: Restricted View Everton
It makes me laugh what with all this campaigning to give disabled people proper facilities to watch a game, yet some able bodied people are made disabled in their view of the game.
What a crazy world we live in.

Re: Restricted View Everton
We still had some tickets left this afternoon so could be spare seats with a decent view when you get there.
