Leicester Fans Vs Spanish Police

Post by Smallpaul » Wed Apr 12, 2017 7:10 pm

Lots of videos on twitter showing clashes between Leicester fans & the police in Madrid.

Im a little suprised, lots of Leicester fans seem bewilded & are claiming the police are randomly attacking people.

There's probably a bit of both going on.

A section of Leicester fans being bellends, naturally on a football away trip vs overly excited Spanish police.

Having been on the receiving end the Spanish police are very heavy handed. Because of this you had to behave in front of them. If you are drunk and swear at one but subsequently get wacked by a truncheon I havnt really got a lot of sympathy.

Just seen a video of them chanting 'ten German bombers' and 'Gibraltar is ours'. Can't believe they are singing it without their plastic clappers.

Spanish police are notorious. Especially in madrid. Respect their law / culture you should be alright. Probably a bit of both. But the leicester chanting is embarassing as ten german bombers.

As their own Number 9 has been reputed to say "chat sh-t get banged"

Singing inflammatory songs and thrown things at the Police really is a good way to get a good hiding. Foreign Police don't stand any nonsense.

I bumped into a group of them in Portugal a few years back, they struck me as pricks then. Not your stereotypical scrapper types, more like a bunch of middle class bellends who've had one too many shandies and suddenly think that because there's a group of them, they can take on the world. It doesn't take long before they run off though. Hope they all get life bans and told to sell their clappers off
