Tinypic let me down badly last year. Had no such problems since moving to http://imgur.com

Simply upload your image and you will be given a code to use for message boards

beneath the input box, click on "full editor& preview.
On the new page, click on "attachments".
click on "add files".
find your image and double click it.
When it has uploaded you get a tick next to "status".
click on "place inline". it should appear in the input box with "attachment" before and after.
click "Submit"
you're done.

This is by far the simplest method. I came on to describe it only to find minnie had beaten me to it :)
