Nooooo - I hope it's 0-0 or a close Anderlecht victory. I want MUFC to have to put out their best 11 in the second leg and hope they're knackered by the time they get to the Turf!!

Best 11 out tonight, all finishing with an injury that keeps them out of our game. Job done.

yeah we want United to progress, with their fixtures around when they play us the game at the Turf will be the only game Moanrinhio can rest players

There will be some colourful language when Moanriniho walks past us at the Turf despite it being a Sunday.

Yep, I reckon a 1-0/2-0 win for Anderlecht would be ideal.

  when i started out following burnley....they were always below us so were are insignificant to my thinking. Man utd leeds man city and stoke were the games i grew up on,and their fans were the most nastiest set of two hats...always a bloody affair. Blackburn? A big yawn from me.

There will be a lot of United 'fans' that now go on the Turf, I bet there are a fair few that now post on this board.

Tossers.

Never liked them. Even wanted Benfica to win in '68.

Going to school in Rossendale in the 70s, Rovers fans were like rocking horse sh!t. It was either Burnley or United and still is.

Most clarets in the Valley hate United. Rovers are jack sh!t, always have been, always will be.

For me any Burnley fan who has this irrelevant hatred for Man Utd sounds like a bar steward fan mid 1990's. Must be a generation thing.

It probably is a generation thing. Back in the day, when you had to go on a game to see any football,
it was all United in the papers. Of course the papers were printed in Manchester and they were
full of United this, United that, United the other, not just on the back page but the inside pages as well. The likes
of poor old Burnley never got a sniff.

Any football that was on TV invariably involved United, and to be honest, they were rammed down your throat
to the extent that I, and many others like me, became sick and tired of hearing about them.

Hence the sense of loathing from a certain generation.

its a jealousy thing, I don't mind United probably because they've had Ruud Van Nistelrooy, Ronaldo and now King Zlat, probably my 3 favourite players of all time along with Pirlo and Seedorf, oh and Ronaldinho.

If Utd - win Europa League and Leicester win Champs League (Big if's I know) only top 3 go into Champs League next season - would be funny to see one of City, Arse or Liverpool finish 4th and miss out - particularly Arse the perennial 4th place kings - win nothing get an extra £30m a season never mind what they put us through this season

You must be a young man. This goes back to the 50s. When they came to us for war. Went home with their tail between their legs. Animals.
