A trip to Ewood ?

Post by Vince Fontaine » Fri Apr 14, 2017 12:06 pm

IF results go in a certain way we could see rovers relegated on Monday. Anyone going to witness it ?
Nottingham forest beat Blackburn
Burton Beat Ipswich
Bristol beat QPR
Birmingham beat Rotherham
That would leave rovers 7 points adrift with 4 matches to play. If they then lose to Bristol on Easter Monday ( at Ewood ) and
Birmingham and Burton draw
Nottingham forest get at least a point
It would leave them 9 points adrift of Burton with 3 matches left.

Bristol have sold about 850 tickets and its pay on the day so there will be plenty of space for a couple of thousand clarets to witness first hand the relegation ( all but mathematically ) of rovers.

A lot of ifs and buts, but it's really, really nice for THEM to be right in it.

I went last week by accident. The BBC fixtures said they were playing Burnley.

Weren't there some of their mutts gathered outside the away entrances for
the Orient game, ready to celebrate? At least, so the story goes, never saw em myself, though.

Would be fabulous if we could celebrate outside Deadwood.
