IAN WRIGHT..
Ex-Claret Ian Wright meets his old football teacher...one of our better short-term signings in the last 30 years..he'll always be a Claret.

Cheers, Hamps.
Not seen that before. Quite heart warming.
Not heard him say great things about us, but think I'm just biased.
Brilliant signing. Had a huge impact just when we needed it.

I thought Ian Wright was a great signing, he was in hole at Celtic, he delivered. Sadly he appears to have forgotten his time as a Claret!

Thanks for posting that. He was stunned to see him, wasn't he! I like how he immediately took his cap off when he saw him

Re: IAN WRIGHT..
Wonderful little clip - the respect he clearly has for the man is touching from taking his hat off to calling him 'Mr Picton' still. These must be the rewards that keep teachers going day in, day out.
The documentary mentioned above about him and David Rocastle is superb and really worth a watch.

Re: IAN WRIGHT..
Nice clip and very respectful from Ian Wright.
Coincidentally, I saw a tv prog late-ish one evening this week centred on David Rocastle (mainly) + Ian Wright. It showed old interviews/match clips and went through the track of their differing career paths from school-Arsenal.
Wrighty came out of that very well too- respectful of people who had helped him/team mates & the game etc.
