It's time that you and the 'Ultras' came up with words to replace the original ones.
Perhaps it should be Bertie Bee, as it's a well outdated song.

I quite like the idea of the following to the tune of Prince Charming, by Adam and The Ants :-
Michael Keane!
Michael Keane!
Stephen Ward, Ben Mee and Matty Lowton!!
40 next week, showing my age with the choice of tune, most kids will never have heard it!

Re: Bertie Bee said
Also, Bertie Mee was an educated and knowledgable football man.
I rather doubt he would have suddenly launched into song mid conversation with Bill Shankley about the merits of the Northbank Highbury.
If by some miracle he did, it would be a staggering fact if the similarly astute William Shankley dismissed Mr Mee's arrogance, and interjected with an appraisal of the Longside terracing in Lancashire.

I suppose we can replace Michael Keane with Tarkowski in more than one sense?

Yep, it can become a mainstay by the end of the West Ham game and then edited by the time we play *insert team* in August 2017.

Re: Bertie Bee said
Sorry, Coyote, but I rather doubt that the original lyrics were ever intended to be taken as factual.
Or indeed that 'Shankly' was meant to be sung with an 'e' in it.

In actual fact Shankly would have almost certainly just replied "Course I have! You can't f***ing miss it!!!".

In the cricket field stand it is on the wall with Bertie Bee - when asked about it, Lee Hoos said it was correct. He didn't know about Bertie Mee.

Had not realised that our Mr Bee was that old. If true he has certainly mixed in good company!
Messrs Mee and Shankley must have felt privileged too!
