All football league matches to be shown live online

Post by aggi » Wed May 03, 2017 5:56 pm

This doesn't (I hope) apply to us but it's a sign of things to come.

The company that has taken over the Player set-up has a new service streaming the football league matches live for £110 per season. Although it isn't available in the UK which makes it a little less useful http://www.efl.com/news/article/2016/ef ... 03898.aspx" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

What you mean like PremierLeaguePass?

That really stopped everyone in the UK watching it.

Well it stopped a lot of people using it, the hassles involved meant that a lot of people stuck with Sky, the numbers using it over here were tiny.

This is more interesting than PLP as it's the league doing the distribution rather than a tv distributor in a far-flung territory.

Seeing I've been unable to stream content through my work PC for years as the corporate VPN is In The Netherlands, for once this might work in my benefit. £100 seems steep now we're not involved though :-)

here in the US, you have to go through BEIN SPorts, and in order to do that you need a subscription to a provider. This means we can circumnavigate all that, which is particularly useful for me as I only have an internet subscription, no TV, no telephone

....the service which will provide coverage of up to 46 live games per club.
Upto 46?
So you could be paying £110 and & still not see all the games?
