if a thread was anonymous could you recognize the OP?
- deliberate usage of more obscure words. Repetitive, heavy reliance on analogies
- links to support a point being made
- over-developed language, meandering, clauses that sometimes have dubious syntax
- a presentation style of a poet

It's normally abbreviations, punctuation and colloquialisms that give people away.

I'm sure this entire forum would recognise posts put up by myself and ABC, when we talk, the crowds gather and take notice.

If it advocated the use of our unused center halves in midfield, I reckon I'd have a decent idea of who it might be.

you're not one of the featured four, KRBFC

1. Rowls, 2. Turtle, 3. Ablue, 4. ...Ringo? (for the presentation alone, working on the basis that some poetry is really, really bad)

Isn't it all subjective though?
Poetry certainly is! William Wordsworth could write prose on here and I'd still think it was utter shite

Re: if a thread was anonymous could you recognize the OP?
here's an example of poster #4 - our resident stanza-king. He writes every post like this:
Assuming neither Hull and Swansea suddenly get another 3 wins plus the odd draw
from their remaining games and we don't go into free fall then yes we're safe or as safe as we can be at this stage.
Having said that they both play Watford and Stoke in their next two games.
If per chance they won those and we lost our next two to Everton and MAn U then I don't think
many would be saying we are safe.
We've got a tricky run in and have to be grateful we managed to get that win against Stoke.
We might still need 3 or 4 points before we can claim we are safe.

Re: if a thread was anonymous could you recognize the OP?
I'm possibly number 3.
I'll often start a sentence with an ending in mind but it will change half way through my typing and end up switching tenses and participles even though it's still going on and not finishing until the moment I hit the full stop.
When I write properly I have to proof read very carefully.
You lot here can just deal with any dubious syntax that comes your way.
But I'm still not sure it's me.

On behalf of ClaretDom, I take offence to the way you used the word ''autism''. I don't believe you should be joking about autism when posters such as ClaretDom suffer on a daily basis.Imploding Turtle wrote:He's basically saying your posts look like they're from someone with autism.

Such a shame you lied about where your season ticket was when you put a row and seat number up a while back. As for your Austism comment that about sums you up as the coward you are.

Re: if a thread was anonymous could you recognize the OP?
If I say 'WTF' outloud and need to read it again then it's Pstotto.
I've explained all this earlier. I'm through with you now, Goodnight! = Rowls.
If it's a well written critical and realistic analysis that could have been penned by the clubs PR team, then its Spice.
If it reads something like, Clarets 147 WBA 1 on the score prediction thread then it's Vegasclaret.
Hopefully one of his forecasts will come in eventually.
