Unless Swansea beat Everton, we are mathematically safe.

Unless we lose our last 2 games and Hull win both theirs and there is a massive swing in goal difference (19) we are safe

Would need to lose both our next games 5-0, and Hull win theirs by the same margin.

I think we will take mathematically safe now. No way can Hull turn around 19 goals difference unless Sean Dyche decided to field the youth team for our last 2 games. ;)

:D :D :D

Edit:

Must add a few more happy faces to keep up with jtv: :D :D :D :D :D :D

Great point today with the changes. Takes us to the magic 40. Well done Sunderland! Hull will have to win 2 games and make up 19 goals, providing we lose our last 2.

Just Swansea left now, if they beat Everton. It's looking rosy. :D

There would have to be a 19 goal turnaround for goal difference for Hull to come above us and us lose our last two games and Hull win their last two games.

And also Swansea to win their last three games so it means we are as good as dammit staying up

Kerching!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't know about you but I'll be rooting for Everton as anything but a Swansea win means we are definitely safe.

Bt has no championship rights.

All league footy is on sky. Btonly allow top flight footy... that's why we've been on there... TWICE ;)

Swanseas results are totally academic and irrelevant now.
Hull ain't gonna turn around an eighteen goal difference.
Doesn't matter if Swansea win all their games.

Great season! Very proud of what the club has achieved in recent years under Dyche. Players need to be rewarded for this and I hope that any building over the summer will be focused on quality rather than quantity (which I'm sure it will). Now to watch the Swansea game :)

It'll be fun looking down seeing Hull, Swansea and Palace battle it out.

BFS even had the audacity to suggest Palace should have prevented every one of City's goals!

I have to say I thought we'd be Ok with 36 points. We might've been but it would have been a pretty stressy last few weekends and the last thing we need on here is (any) stress!!

Will be interesting to look at the relegated teams at the end of the season and work back to when we could have stopped stressing

As a perpetually pessimistic Burnley fan even i will be having a glass of champagne tonight even if Swansea win. A truly fantastic achievement!

What an absolutely fantastic achievement! We are so fortunate to have Sean Dyche at the helm and should never take him or what he's done for us for granted. Well done to the players and all involved. There might not be the same euforia as winning the league but its arguably an even great achievement.
