An Open Letter To The Brentford Players....

Post by ElectroClaret » Sat May 06, 2017 6:27 pm

Hello there, lads,
Well, it's been a long season, as usual, and as a Burnley fan, it's been a good one as we secured another term
in the Premier League. (Mathematics from another universe permitting).
I know you're coming to the last game and with nothing much to play for, but I want you to consider
a scenario. It's a scenario that sees you as players for Nottingham Forest or Birmingham City, two
fine clubs with glorious histories. If you indeed played for either of these clubs, just think how miffed you'd
be if you came off your respective games and realised that all your efforts had been in vain because the Brentford players
hadn't put the required shift in. And furthermore, just consider who you're playing. Blackburn Rovers.
A miserable, sorry excuse for a football club if ever there was one. They don't like you. I know this for a fact.
So it's all hands to the wheel tomorrow, give it your all and put a great show on for your fans to be proud of.

On behalf (I'm sure) of all true Burnley and football fans.
Electroclaret.

Ps. Hope you're promoted next season and join us for another term in the PL.

(Think that'll work?)

my perfect scenario is all 3 winning but florist and brum with deep into added time goals.
Naturally Juke would get brums winner.

Do you think we should tell them how James Tarkowski has performed last couple of weeks? and Andre Gray for a large part of the season?

You could have shortened that to;

Lads,

Please f*ck them over and back the other way. Good luck!

Regards,

Burnley

I'd add that bstard fans have repeatedly posted that they are to big to be playing the likes of Brentford due to Jack and all that need is another billionaire to buy them their rightful place in the Prem. Show them what a proper team can do.

I want it to be as painful as possible.

Something like a goal for Brentford in the 95th minute which is miles offside and put in with a hand should do it.

They've only been out of the bottom 3 on a few occasions this season. It's been great to watch them suffer that indignity for month after month. If they do scramble clear on Sunday then at least we can look forward to more of the same angst next season, too, probably.
