He has had a fair few injuries in recent years and missed the whole of 2015/16 with a serious back injury.
He has been working his way back up to fitness this season and has refereed in all the divisions before refereeing his first PL match since 24 May 2015 when he took charge of Watford v Sunderland on 1 April this year.
