Went myself over Easter for the third time, love the place.

We visited Sachenhausen concentration camp, Humboldthain flak tower and Berlin zoo.

As well as these places we also did the typical Berlin visits to the Reichstag, Checkpoint Charlie, Topography of Terror, Jewish memorial, etc...

It really is a great place. If you get chance I'd 100% recommend visiting Burgermeister. An unusual place but absolutely terrific burgers.

It's a great starting point for marching on places like Warsaw, Prague, Paris etc.

If you like to see how other people live try The Kaufhaus des Westens (English "Department Store of the West"), usually abbreviated to KaDeWe, a department store in Berlin. With over 60,000 square metres of selling space and more than 380,000 articles available, it is the second largest department store in Europe after Harrods in London. It is a throwback to the heydays of department stores of my childhood (1960's) There are interesting places to eat and drink there.
Also recommend a visit to the Museum of East Germany. The DDR Museum is in the centre of Berlin. It is located in the former governmental district of East Germany, right on the river Spree, opposite the Berlin Cathedral. The museum is the 11th most visited museum in Berlin. TIP : don't lose your entry ticket or you can't get out and you'll feel just like you're behind the Iron Curtain. Don't miss driving a Trabant in the simulator and walking the through the typical rooms of an East German house..... you'll be surprised how thoughtful the house planners and social structure were. Also if you want to visit the 'new' German parliament building (glass dome structure ) be prepared for long queues unless you prebook your ticket in UK. Train is cheap to travel into the city from the airport and is a flat fare that you can use to see other parts of the city as long as you don't start coming back on yourself. You can get an express train or a slower stopping train so do research on where to go on the platform but be sure to validate your ticket on the platform before travel.

Was there myself 2 weeks ago.
It helps if you are into modern history. I loved the place and would definately go again and for longer.
My biggest piece of advice would be to go on the guided tours (this applies to all cities just as well).
You will get so much more out of it than just walking around yourself and they are not expensive. Just Google "Insider Tours Berlin" and take your pick.
Did all the usual sites including having a meal at night in the revolving restaurant on top of the TV tower.
There is nothing to see at Checkpoint Charlie but the museum right next to it is definately worth a visit.
As said earlier, if you are planning on visiting the Reichstag and Dome definately book in advance.

Enjoy.

I very much echo what CK says, we were there for two weeks over Easter and there was something to do every day.

We stayed in the Mitte area which is as central as you can get, which I would recommend.

When it comes to tours you won't do better then using Insider Tours, Brian Bell in particular is very very knowledgeable about Berlin.
