Steve Jones

Steve Jones has just been appointed as the assistant manager of Nantwich Town. I thought he did OK as a Burnley player, arriving on a free in 2006.

His Burnley career peaked on debut with two goals in a 2-0 win against QPR.

He was a full International and whenever we had a player that didn't set the world alight, he was still better than anyone whose plays football on a keyboard.

His biggest fault was his less than impressive hairstyle :o

Back then sadly beggars couldn't be choosers. We had no money and recruited well for our budget.

I thought he was a decent player. Had his best game against Leeds when we beat them 2-1. Gifton and Gray with goals.
