To be honest who cares if he's fit to play. It's a minor injury for his sake, we're safe and he's off. He's been a fantastic player for us and we have the luxury of moving on and testing our options.
Give Long another 2 games, he looks more than capable as 4th choice when we sign another centre half in the summer.

Strange how injuries turn out. I would have bet for certain that after the Crystal Palace game it would have been Stephen Ward struggling to be fit for the next few games. Seemed to take a knock at the end of the game last week too.ClaretTony wrote:Michael Keane being assessed, Mee unlikely to play
