If there's ever a re-make of Catweazle (and stranger things do happen) Carl Fogarty is a shoo-in for the role.

He would have been getting on a bit.
I think he was nearly a thousand years old when they made the TV series in the early 70's.

No, it should actually say "Fan of League Two and oblivion bound Blackburn Rovers, Carl Fogarty"

He`s actually a Man United fan is Foggy, although when Jack bought them the prem trophy the Blackburn Telegraph sequestrated him as a B`stard fan and he quickly contacted them and they had to appologise. I know this because I was working at Foggies gaff at the time (Probably in my Clarets shirt)

First time I heard the term Mugwump was in Catweazle. Boris, or his dad, must have been a fan
