Cost of the "Lord Mayor's show" - £6 million
just meant as an illustration, but if we had won it, we're three places higher....... a little bit "at the beach already" for me. Got what we deserved. Little creation, two poor defensive errors. The one takeaway is that at least SD looked to affect the game this time...
Great header from Vokes though (again)

I don't buy this "at the beach already" attitude today.... it's been the same almost every away game this season. Little creativity in the team, lack of pace, nobody willing to carry the ball positively.... yarder yarder yarder. It is the way Dyche likes to take the challenge away from home, Rigid with a framework and primary focus of grabbing a 0-0 draw.
We need different mindset next season or else It could be a looooooong season.

yes, but that wouldn't have allowed me to play with a Dycheism, would it?

We are missing our best defensive partnership in Keane & Mee yet you still want the same level of performance?
We don't have that kind of strength in depth yet we went away and lost by the odd goal.
Get a grip!

Think it's you who needs to be gripping your belt to pull your pants up, Marlon. Our defense excuses the two goals conceded, per your point, but outside of an amazing header from Vokes we had nothing from midfield forward, from players that have pretty much performed better than that all season

We've been **** away from home all season, to blame it on missing our 2 centre backs is baffling.

you might want to let Mr Dyche know that, Murger. He more or less admitted both points - poor defensive display, and the psychological impact of having reached the 40 points markMurger wrote:We've been **** away from home all season, to blame it on missing our 2 centre backs is baffling.
6 million - and as someone has pointed out on another thread - that's one hell of a contract extension incentive for a couple of our wanted players.....

SkySports reckon both Leicester and West Ham have a potential £13.3m difference in prize money available in their remaining games, while Crystal Palace, Stoke and Burnley all have reasons to field strong teams for their final game, with a difference of £11.4m up for grabs.
