I'd quite like Hull to win, just to take it down to the final day of the season.

I think we'd probably like to see Palace relegated with Sam in charge.

He'd be a bigger threat to our survival next season if he kept palace up and stayed there.

Crunch match for Hull. They have to win this one. It's as simple as that
and even if they do they may still go down as they face Spurs at home in their last match.
They'll probably need to win that one too.
They've been pretty unlucky over the season given their very poor start but have made a fist of it since Xmas
and the arrival of their new manager.

Personally I'd like them to win at Palace but have a feeling they might not.

Certainly they may have one or two players who we might be interested in
not that I see us actually getting any of them as they are likely to go elsewhere.

I think Hull with Silva will be a lot stronger next season too. There'd be no, "Easy 6 points" as I've read on here recently - even though we didn't even get 6 points this season.

Haha, Spanish TV is so amateur. They got greedy (as usual) with the adverts and missed the team lineups etc before the game. Got the game on now and the picture quality is crap (I'm guessing I've got used to HD channels now) and there was no commentary whatsoever for the first 5 minutes of the game. They've now announced that they had some technical problems so they're with us now. Actually, watching the game without commentary was kind of refreshing. But yeah, amateurs.

Why on earth do Palace have Fellaini as ball boy?

For all the talk about what a great manager Marco Silva apparently is, his whole zonal marking strategy on corners has not helped Hull City one little bit.

Any of Clucas Mcguire and Robertson would be great signings.

Because the referee wasn't looking. A blatant handball and penalty.

KRBFC will be along shortly to tell us we should swap Silva for Dyche as they play good football.Oh look it impacts on your defence and you get stuffed away from home.

2 out of 3 promoted sides now relegated. Only the Champions (without a trophy presented) have survived.
It just goes to show how difficult it is to establish a team in the PL.
Next year, Brighton and one other from the play-offs will probably go back. Newcastle may survive but at who's expense? We are probably favourites for relegation yet again. SD has to change his tactics and make us more creative, especially away. We will have some money to do that but it will be a big test for him to overcome the second season syndrome.

Not good news for the North East with three of their teams going down.
No doubt Newcastle fans will be happy but possibly even some of those
will miss going to Sunderland, Boro and/or Hull.

They'll have much more travelling to do.

It is not change tactics it is evolve tactics - we will need to be at least as good in defence next year if not better

I would like to see us:
better at receipt and control of the ball
better and more creative in possession
better at final ball delivery
better able to deal with long cross-field passes to the full back positions

Still believe it is too early for us to concentrate on anything but the league - cups will come but that might take a bit of time yet

Still love what we have achieved this season though - a few more seasons at this level and the town could be transformed with the optimism and belief generated
