Spurs have only won the league twice
Spurs have only won the league twice
Not great for a club of their supposed stature and size.

Re: Spurs have only won the league twice
Only 5 teams won it twice (4 teams won it 3 times; 3 teams won it 4 times; 7 teams won it 6 or more times)
Spurs (+ 8 FA Cups)
Portsmouth & Preston (+ 2 FA Cups)
Burnley & Derby (+ 1 FA cup)
And 5 teams won it once
Forest
WBA
Sheff United
Leicester
Ipswich

Re: Spurs have only won the league twice
Since us and Spurs won it over half a century ago i think only 13 teams have won it showing how difficult it is to win especially in the modern era

Brighton 57th on the major honours list (for FA Charity Shield in 1910)
Just above Queens Park (Sheriff of London Charity Shield 1899)
and Fulham (UEFA Intertoto Cup 2002)

Other one major trophy winners
Crystal Palace (Full Member's Cup 1991) & Reading (Full Member's Cup 1988)
And then those who've won The League Cup (in various disguises) once.
Luton Town
Middlesboro
Oxford United
QPR
Stoke City
Swansea City
Swindon Town

Chelsea had only won the title once before you know who poked his big Russian conk in.
The manure wannabees had only won it twice before the big yuan.

Spurs have always been regarded as a "cup team", some thing never change it seems.
