The strangest thing about that article for me is the comments at the bottom... 2 people buying kidneys...
Fortis Hospital
We are urgently in need of kidney donors for the sum of $450,000 USD,
for more details:
Dr. Brian.
call number: 00919500703584
WhatsApp: 00919500703584
They only need a handful of rovers fans to donate a kidney and they'll be able to buy the club back!
Not sure how much faith I'd put in "Dr. Brian" though. :?

The need to be careful. This is the sort of thing the FA might step in and handle if it's a breach of fit and proper persons.

Saying that Cellino does what he wants

From Jack Straw in Lancastria.net October 2010

"If the Venky’s deal for Rovers passes the remaining hurdles, then in my view it will be good news for the club and its loyal fans"

Jack Straw must me wanting to eat his words!

Not sure whether this tax examination business is gonna be good or bad for Rovers future
and if it's going to force Venkys out of the door of Deadwood sooner. The best thing really
is for them to be held in a sort of footballing limbo, with no investment and no clear direction
of travel.(rather like now, really.) :D

BTW, there's a cracking new detailing of the V's takeover and early days in charge over on the
brfcs board. Wonderful reading, and only the first episode, entitled The Demise of Blackburn Rovers
Under the Venkys. Details Allardyces sacking and the rise of Steve Kean. Good stuff.

Just been reading that Demise of Rovers etc and it's actually very well written and accurate in the Walker era and the running of the club by the Trust.
It doesn't seem to mention the £100 million they wrote off, but the rest of it is good.

Thanks for the link Sid. Looks great reading.

I might ask them to make sure all episodes are published by mid July, as it will all make great holiday reading if I save them up!

July 25th, by a pool in a hotel in Majorca...
"Margaret, I don't know what that bloke over by the palm tree has been reading for the past two weeks, but he has not stopped laughing!"

What it shows is that Football fans must be careful what they wish for.

Investment? A sham!

Loyalty? A Sham!

Traditional Business, Respect for Uncle Jack's Legacy, Responsible Owners??? What a Joke!

Venkys... the gift that keeps on giving!

I'd like to feel sorry for our near neighbours but, the same thing keeps coming back...

Be careful what you wish for! Eat it up Bar Stewards!

Don't the FA usually just ban Cellino from running the club so he gets a stooge to stand in?

That's the Venky's ownership style anyway.

Some great stuff there.

"Venkys offered Kean a contract, which was hastily signed."
I'll bet it was. SK must have thought all his birthdays and
Christmases had come at once. :D :D

Incredible incompetence. Fortunately.

I briefly forgot about Blackburn being relegated. Remembering that put a big smile on my face. I must remember to save that edition of the football league show. SD always talks about those little margins. The truth is in the detail. Just two little goals.

Blackburn Rovers- used to be owned by a man that, when it came to paying tax, was something of a cowboy.

Now they're being run into the ground by Indians.
