I think we'll win and finish 12th.

11th still a possibility.

There's bound to be a few odd results though.

Following Leicester's stuffing tonight if they lose on Sunday and we win we would finish above the defending Premier League Champions!

IF both us and Watford won.
It would be funny to see Citeh miss out on CL via goal diff

But Wenger robbed two points from us in our games which still annoys me.

My thought is ,what was wrong with playing on Saturday at 3 pm. ?
I understand that all games need to kick off at the same time but why on Sunday afternoon.?
Travelling from Hull to London is a fair distance especially on a Sunday when trains are usually running slow or replaced by buses

Woodley - is it because it's illegal to televise 3pm kickoffs on a saturday? Anyone know?

A win would probably be the proverbial icing on the cake and hopefully take us up a
few positions and get us 4/5m more than we might have hoped for.
It would take us to 12 wins and apart from the top 7 there's not many teams, if any, that
have won more.

Not many clarets would have hoped for better than that.

Even if we don't win it's been a memorable season and we've managed, against the odds many would argue,
to stay in the Premiership and thankfully without jangling too many nerves and some notable wins
at home to cheer the fans. Pity we left it next to last game to win away but that was coming and it came at a
very opportune moment.

So come you clarets finish off the season on a great note and get that win.
I predict 3-2 with Keane coming on for the last 15 mins and scoring the winner.

Wouldn't that be nice?

Isn't it good to know we didn't need to win away all season and still stay up,the three points at Palace didn't matter...:)

If we win and Hull lose we wouldn't have needed any points away.

No that did.
That took massive pressure off the next home game.
Considering we drew and Hull lost it could have been delifferent.

I think we will win comfortably, and we should go up a few places but I heard last night that the difference between finishing 11th or 17th is 19million quid.

Cyrstal Palace were favourites to win on PP this morning, that would have been unthinkable in Fergies reign.

I would think the rules are set by the TV companies themselves so couldn't see it being illegal. Maybe the Europa League scenarios influence it?

Edit
But of course, that makes no sense as it was the previous week

"UK football’s TV blackout rule prevents live football matches from being televised between 2.45pm and 5.15pm on Saturday afternoons. The blackout rule was introduced during the 1960s when Football League chairmen believed televised matches had a negative impact on attendances at other matches being played at the same time."
