Deano at Crow Wood today

Post by Longtimeclaret » Sat May 20, 2017 1:11 pm

Great to see Dean Marney, looking fit in the gym at Crow Wood this morning . Not sure about his planned return date , but his rehab today was overseen by one of the fitness coaches at BFC.
Hopefully he will back before the end of the calendar year

I'd love to see Dean Marney wear the Claret and Blue of Burnley again in a competitive fixture. I suspect that we may not, but I've never hoped to be more wrong in my life.

Maybe a silly question but why do they use Crow Wood?
Are there facilities there that we don't have at Gawthorpe?

They used to have far better facilities and recovery machines and equipment etc at crow wood.

I'd like to think Gawthorpe now has top of the range equipment now too, so presume it's just not 109% ready to be used yet.

Interview with him two weeks ago and he said he'd been told at least a year because it is the second on the same knee.
