Mowbray to stay at Ewood
He's had positive and productive talks with the owners apparently on his trip to India and is going to carry on.

He probably had the same productive talks Lambert did while face to face.

Wouldn't have thought he'd have had any other option after managing to relegate two teams last season.ClaretTony wrote:He's had positive and productive talks with the owners apparently on his trip to India and is going to carry on.

Re: Mowbray to stay at Ewood
Shame, he was doing well.
However they've just decimated their squad and will need to cap the wages on any incoming players so he's got his work cut out.
Gone by Xmas?

Heard today from an accountant and a bstards fan to boot that one of the accounts teams are valuing assets for a creditor very reliable source. Also totaly unrelated to whats happening at Deadwood (or is it )but with a connection some members of a famous family have just got a rather large tax bill alledgedly and some assets are being sold allegedly generate cash. Hmm.
Re: Mowbray to stay at Ewood
Hopefully the BFG can run them in to league2

Re: Mowbray to stay at Ewood
If assets are being valued for a creditor, then it'll be the State Bank of India, or a UK statutory authority... most likely the former. If they're being asked to extend their facilities into next season, the Bank will want to know the value of assets that may be realised in the event of a forced sale, under the terms of their debenture..bfcjg wrote:Heard today from an accountant and a bstards fan to boot that one of the accounts teams are valuing assets for a creditor very reliable source. As I and others have said on here before, Ewood Park is worthless other than for use as a Stadium. Demolition costs would far outweigh any profit that could come via housing or commercial development. However, the training ground at Brockhall, with planning permission for housing, would be worth a small fortune..

Makes sense to keep him on, he knows how to get a team in turmoil to the bottom of league 1.

Re: Mowbray to stay at Ewood
Walker family own Rocket Centre motorcycle dealers in Blackburn near Audi and BMW dealers on Trident Park. Apparently it's up for sale

Re: Mowbray to stay at Ewood
It is indeed up for sale there is a house on the market as well alledgedly to help pay off the tax bill as part of a wider investigation according to rumours that of course are just rumours and may be wide of the mark and shouldn't infer anything untoward has happened.
Re: Mowbray to stay at Ewood
The rumours are wrong, not about the Rocket centre or House sale but about the reason for selling.bfcjg wrote:It is indeed up for sale there is a house on the market as well alledgedly to help pay off the tax bill as part of a wider investigation according to rumours that of course are just rumours and may be wide of the mark and shouldn't infer anything untoward has happened.
