A good sentiment but I am unsure about the wisdom of carrying a permanent reminder around with you. And as with the one minutes applause will every tragedy have it's own tattoo ? Could end up being a little like pokemon ?

A tattoo artist coming up with an idea to pull on the heart strings of the city and gain massive free publicity for her tattoo parlour.

I'm perhaps being a tad cynical - it appeared that way to me from the beginning of the link - perhaps she's donating all proceeds to the victims of emergency services.

Well if she is then it`s a positive thing. I personally would just donate.

It's not just one person doing it, there's a whole host, and yes, all the money is going to charity.

I know a fair few Mancunians who have had bee tattoos for a while, it's a fairly common thing.

What's the significance of the Bee in relation to Manchester?
Can't say I've noticed it before this week.

It's on the coat of arms; a worker bee to symbolise the industrial past of the city. Its on all the bins and the tiles of the town hall floor.

Quite apart from the subject matter, tattoos can result in longterm slow toxic absorption and knacker vital organs. Always ask the needle man for the chemical data safety sheet or COSHH Risk Assessment (legal requirements).

Bees are also on Boddingtons logo/cans.

Even though it's no longer brewed in Manchester.

Is this a new Daesh tactic? Mass murder by tattoo infection.
