What did you do to celebrate staying up?

Post by Quickenthetempo » Fri May 26, 2017 1:43 pm

With a lot on here saying staying up is a greater acheivement than getting up, some even saying better than our previous top flight silverware.

So what did you do to celebrate?

It was quite muted for me as we had done the hard work early and never really looked like going down, that with a few poor results late in the season took the shine off. Maybe I'm not built to celebrate survival, although I celebrated Notts Forrest and Birminghams.

Allowed myself a sugar in my cup of tea. And another one in the next cup.

Went to The Angel and got drunk with Burnley's finest.

Completely knew we'd stay up, so didn't really do owt special.

Rovers being relegated, however, prompted days of partying. :D

I think that FidelCastro must still be out celebrating as he claimed it was bigger than our last title win at Maine Road.
