THE NEGATIVITY O9BSERVED

Post by davemanu2000 » Fri May 26, 2017 6:24 pm

Still it can be observed that had many negative feats during the past season .
1. They started and ended with a defeat .
2. Both time they were playing home .
3. Their away form was less to be desired with only one win and some draws .
4. They tried to buy some players . They were not bad but took some time to settle .
5. Some of their key players were injured and took time to recover .
6. The home matches never exceeded more than 20,000. spectators .
7. A club to the level of Burnley should have a larger stadium and filled to a capacity of more than 30,000 spectators for each home match .
8. The players could not exercise proper passing balls and the often lose their balls to the adversaries .(This is a personal remark from what i observed during some matches L).
9. Losing at the last moment of the matches is heart breaking .EG Arsenal ,Bournemouth and some others .
10. The next season will be more competitive in view that all clubs are at a recruiting stage to acquire the best players available both inland and abroad . Burnley have to be armed fully to face the challenges and assaults of other clubs .
11. The Board of Directors has to find more funds to buy good players in the transfer market .
12 .Last season was a stepping stone to greatness . The foundation stone has to be consolidated further .
13. I READ QUITE OFTEN THE PROBABLE transfers of our best players .
14 . SEAN DYCHE has proved to be our James Bond . As such he should not be allowed to desert our ship .
These are some points that I have ventured to write upon . Many posters will not agree on some points which are reasoble as they have their own ideas .

The last paragraph of my post says that all of us cannot agree on some points . i said that it is quite natural .
We have to prepare ourselves for the next venture . I was expecting that we would be among the 10 best but unfortunately we slipped during the last two weeks of the competition . This is not normal .We shall have to fight till the last match of the calendar .

The final table was distorted, Dave. West Brom, Stoke and Southampton all stopped playing 6 weeks ago. We managed to get 4 points from our two games with them. Others also gained points they might not have got in February or March. A very strange season but thankfully we came out above the drop zone.
Sean will buy well. Onwards and upwards.
