Seems like every single day there is something else negative being reported about the don. Why he's said, what he's done, who he's upset, who he's sacked etc. The really cynical among us might suggest that he's being hounded out of office!
Anyone think he will see the end of his term?? I'm not so sure.

We only ever hear about him in the news, usually the news have decided to run a bad story or ridicule him so it changes everyone's mind when watching it. If something is said enough people will start to believe it.

I believe he made quite a good speech to the leaders of the Arab world the other day, about how everyone, including them, need to work together to deal with Isis etc.
It didn't get as much air time as when he makes a blunder, but it doesn't suit people's agendas I suppose.

So, he's not a dick and we're just made to think he's a dick by people reporting on all the dickish things he's done.
Have I got that right?

Hard to know.
With the amount of negative stuff Turtle posts about POTUS I'm starting to feel sorry for the guy.
Someone else has declared him the worst president ever and that was only a few weeks into his presidency, which is impressive.

Yes. He went to Saudi Arabia, the supporters of ISIS, to tell everyone that Iran, who are trying to liberalise are somehow the biggest threat to the middle east, and to congratulate the Saudis on their $100 billion arms deal none of which will ever and up in the hands of ISIS.

He gets no credit of saying the obvious. And he certainly gets no credit for saying something Obama said for 8 years which the Republican's still criticised him for anyway.
If you want to listen to a great speech to Muslims, here you go -
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B_889oBKkNU" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; (Republican's called this speech an "apology". See if you can figure out why)

So wasn't Obama saying the obvious either?
Or doesn't it count because it was Obama and not Trump?

I gave Obama no credit for saying they need to work together either. Why are you still making things up that i haven't said and then criticising me for it?

Nope not making anything up.
You stated he was saying something that was obvious.
I merely asked you if Obama did the same thing.
Your paranoia means you think I'm making things up to criticize you about.
You need to calm down, maybe take some time to read what I've said.

You didn't merely ask, you framed the question with the implied premise that i had praised Obama. If you want to avoid doing that in the future then stop beinning questions with "so" unless there's an "or" somewhere. For example, "So wasn't Obama saying the obvious either, or am I a dumb **** who keeps making the same mistake by assuming you praised him for it even though you claimed no such thing?"

In choosing Saudi ( the country that produced most of the 9/11 bombers) ahead of every country in the world for his first trip as president, he did what businessmen do....go to where your best customers are.
No middle eastern government wants to see ISIS in their own back yard, particularly the Saudi royal family, so no credit for saying that it's a good idea to fight them.
By his visit he has exonnerated the Saudis of all blame for the mess in the middle east (despite the fact that extremist ideology is deeply rooted in the Saudi wahabist/salafist interpretation of Islam)and has laid the problem squarely at the door of Shia Iran who ISIS consider to be their most despised enemy. You really have to wonder what's going on.

You're a dumb paranoid ****.
I asked you if Obama had also stated the obvious.
Then I asked if it didn't count if Obama did state the obvious because he isn't Trump.
At no point did I imply you were praising Obama.
You dumb paranoid ****.

Yes you did. I said Trump gets no praise for speaking the obvious and your immediate questions were "So wasn't Obama saying the obvious either?" which implies that i praised Obama for saying something obvious. And then you asked "Or doesn't it count because it was Obama and not Trump?" Which implies the reason for the previously implied double-standard is down to partisanship.

I didn't imply anything about you praising Obama, that's you reading something that isn't there and then accusing me of something I haven't done because you're paranoid.
If I was going to accuse you of praising Obama I'd ask you why you're praising Obama.
I don't feel the need to write sentences with hidden meanings, I'm quite a blunt sort of person.
You should maybe take a break from discussing anything related to politics on here, you're starting to see things that aren't there.

Learn how to ask questions. We were having a perfectly good exchange of thoughts until you tried to frame my point of view as if it was partisan, or biased, or unimpartial. If this became about me it's because you made it about me with your implication
about me.

I'm not sure going to the middle east and only talking to those who Saudi favour and support is going to help to be perfectly honest (and that doesn't include the Israeli element)
Ignoring Iran and Iranian allies sounds far too much like a continuation of decades of failed US policy to be honest

To be fair, and i think we'll both agree, that if i've used it then it's a word. If it wasn't, it is now. I'm basically shakespeare in that regard.

So hard he had to use a golf cart while the rest of the G7 leaders walked 700 yards.
