Reckon they will get around 3m tribunal Liverpool at it again was suppose to be one of the hot prospects from Chelsea and only didn't get a chance cause drogba was there.

Even if they get away with paying tuppence ha'penny in compo, the wages alone are a huge investment in someone who is unproven (assuming they meet his reported £50k a week demand).

Re the OP: only didn't get a chance at Chelsea because of Drogba? It's two years since Drogba left? What's happened since then?

Yeah it is very good, especially if you want good results, just thought Liverpool were targeting more than good that's all, winning premier leagues and champions leagues. Hardly a deadly strike force of solanke and origi

When teams like Chelsea buy up all the young talent, keep them in the reserve teams and send them out on loan while filling the first team with overseas signings, they can hardly complain when stuff like this happens. Sadly for the lad, he's probably swapping one premier league reserve team for another - he'd be far better off coming to Burnley!
