Making my rovers usher wear claret and blue.

Post by Dejavu » Fri Jun 02, 2017 11:51 pm

I'm getting married tomorrow and one of my ushers is a diehard rovers fan. Needless to say he will be sporting the claret and blue!!

Can anyone beat this??

I'll pop round and bring my knuckle dusters if you like.

You just point out the usher in question.

I was going to wear claret and blue at a mate of my son's funeral but decided against it. I wish I had now as all the friends and family were wearing Rovers shirts. Josh and my lad always used to take the p!ss out of each other at a time when T'Rovers were on top, and I think he would have approved of such a parting gesture. However, it's the ones left that you have to worry about and I didn't think they would appreciate the joke. I wish I could turn the clock back on that one.

That is funny. How times change!! The wedding is in Hereford and ironically my one of the bridesmaids is the niece of Stuart Phillips the Guy who scored a hat trick when we lost 6-0 at home to them. A game I went to!!!

Wouldn't be surprised if quietly he's really chuffed about this and just didn't have the nerve previously to move over to the other side!

I hope the future Mrs dejavu has better taste in clubs or this could all go horribly wrong!

Glad the sun's shining for you on your special day.

Best wishes.

Usher's are supposed to help organise things.

strange choice since we all know Roverites couldn't organise a pee up in a brewery
