Where did they get the stats from? Because I thought they'd changed the rules (probably because of Delap's throw-ins) to make all Premier pitches the same size, except for special circumstances eg. Anfield being too narrow to fit a full width pitch.

Isn't it a UEFA requirement to have all pitches the same size in the top leagues across Europe?

As far as I know the Premier League have introduced a standard sized pitch and we conformed with that ahead of last season. Some clubs have smaller pitches because they cannot fit the standard pitch into the grounds. Liverpool are certainly one and I think Chelsea are another. West Ham's used to be too short at the old ground.

I'm at a meeting this week and will certainly ask about ours again but I can't imagine we did all that work and left it below the standard size.

From memory I think ours has always been one of the wider pitches but used to be a little bit short. I seem to remember it being lengthened by a small margin so that it complied with Premier League guidelines.

Perhaps it's just a false memory?

Wembley has always been a massive pitch. Never understood that.

Premier league changed the rules last year so that every pitch would be the same i.e. 105 x 68m and we conformed. Some clubs have smaller dimensions if the stadium cannot accommodate these sizes e.g. Crystal Palace. The information for this article is out of date.
Judging by what I saw on TV last night I would say Brighton have changed to the league standard.

It wasn't last year. The regs were definitely in place three years ago when we went up but we were given a year's grace.

2012 was the year when the Premier league brought in the new rule to regulate pitch size but also brought in a contradictory rule at the same time to say clubs that cannot accommodate the new size don't have to

Surely Liverpool should have had to make their pitch fit, on the width at least, when they did their rebuild last year?
