Login.......go to videos.......but still says "subscribe"!

Logged off/on, powered iPad off/on, and reported it (yet again).

The service isn't good enough, refunds should be given and the club give the provider an SLA to get it put right.

Very frustrating.

Just wondered if others still having the same problems.

It must be your account, I haven't had a problem since I worked out the sequence of logging in.

I had the same problem as Jimmymaccer above then found that I had let my annual subscription lapse and once I renewed it worked fine
I was not reminded to renew though which I would have liked and expected

Same has happened with me, worked fine until 2 days ago, i've checked, my subscription doesn't run out until september.

same issue for me also last few days
It allows me to log on but when clicking on subscribed videos it takes me to the page to subscribe!
With us being in the Prem now and able to see all the games live it doesn't really serve much up apart from the Turf More show which has been really good. So, we're paying for the pre/post-match interviews interviews with new players coming in; very little development/youth squad info (when there's nothing else on they show odd things) and in-goal cameras to see the goals. Commentary's not worth much when you can see the match live online.
Still pondering on whether to continue when subscription runs out.

I now can't watch vids. Can log in but then when click video it asks me to subscribe.

I think the problem is to do with the direct debit. We had paid by DD for many years but with new company now running it I guess the old DD is now out of date and won't automatically renew although it was 12 September 2016 when it was last renewed. Checked my DD's on bank app and it is not there. Will try and confirm with club if this is the case.

Same for me I've subscribed and it works on desktop PC but get the same old problem logging in on mobile device - go to videos or clarets live and you get back to the same subscribe page even though they've taken money out for the subscription! Keep going round in circles. Waste of money

Think you're correct. I had some old details that ClaretsPlayer had carried on using for years. Looks like the new company need updated details as it said I need to subscribe again. All running fine now i've paid! :lol:

Cant get it to work on safari, works with chrome or google app
After login click on matches, fixtures and results, it should appear now, with listen on clarets player to the right of the list of games

It's the sequencing!!
The club have apologised for this.

1/. From the main club page....click "Access Clarets Player"
2/. Then enter your details and click "sign in"
3/. Then on the tab find and click "More"
4/. Then click "Clarets Player HD"
5/. Then click "latest videos"
6/. Then...scroll down past the subscription page and the videos are at the bottom.

I hope this helps. It works for me on a pc anyhow. It's worth the effort. :D

I get to 'latest videos', the videos have 'subscribe now' written across them, I click on the video and it realises I am subscribed so it plays normally.

Double-check that your device isn't set to private browsing - that could be the problem.

Nope, still doesn't work for me, still getting the subscribe now pop up even though it doesn't run out until 19th september.

That's what I've done since moving to the new player and always worked but these last few days it's directed me to the subscribe page even though i'm subscribed and logged in!

Just registered to respond to this thread.

In the summer, I received an email stating that the old Clarets Player had been handed over to the new company iFollow and that I'd need to register ( a subscription increase from £36.99 to £42.99ish didn't bother me because last season, the service was excellent). I registered at the end of July .

Have been in touch with the Clarets Player (iFollow?) help desk having been continually blocked out and being asked to subscribe.

In response to my emails, they requested proof of purchase, which I provided. Their response was that my subscription expired 11th August and I'd need to re-subscribe for the new season.

No thanks.

Be careful with this, guys. I'm not expecting a refund...

It's a rubbish format now.

It was much easier to navigate when Clarets Player had its own website and an App. The service was still sketchy at the best of times.

It's rubbish on an iPhone that's for sure.

Not a fan, I'm getting stuck in a loop aswell but only for listening to the live content. I can still access the replays and latest videos though.

Is it just me or has the audio quality on all of the commentaries been crap since it switched provider? It sounds fuzzy if that makes sense.

the more the discussion develops on here I am thinking that basically the new provider arent allowing the old subscriptions to run over into the new one, as someone mentioned above that they should be subscribed until Sept and are having the same issues as many of us, and are trying to get us to pay now for the new service.

I signed up for one month last saturday and I spent an age getting discombobulated with the sequence, but I use:

"Access clarets player"
"Sign in with email address and password"
It then goes to a "my information" page........ ignore it and click on "more" on the top navigation under the piccie of the players
Drop down menu under "more" and pick "clarets player HD" and then bizarrely "clarets player HD"again OR "latest videos" (the navigation is the same")

And there you have them - but you have to scroll down to them as the page has a "sign up to clarets player" taking up the top half of the page, which I guess means you can navigate to here without signing in per the step above...... but scroll down - don't be put off by what you see

This evening after coming in from t'Turf I had to rejoin, as in pay for the season pass.

It's always been a rolling thing where you automatically get another season unless you opt out.

Has this changed because of the new set up/provider?

I think so BOT (remember an email a few months bck explaining that a new subscription would need to be done manually as the automatic, at least for this first time, option was available and I think they're pushing through people's finishing dates without letting the old ones finish so people pay before they realise how crap a service it is.

My monthly payments have carried on as normal. Once I sorted out changing the password I was fine. I ticked the keep me logged in box and I get into player using the more tab not access player. I then click on what I want to watch which then takes me to the subscribe now video. Click on that and it automatically logs me in. It's a long way round but i've got used to it now.

I get that circle to nowhere when nI try on Chrome. Have to use others to get in.
