Hourihane

Post by ontario claret » Mon Aug 28, 2017 8:46 pm

Scored 3 goals for Aston Villa lat weekend. I've been saying for 2 years now that he'd look better in our version of claret and blue, especially with Hendrick now injured. We're a wealthier club than Villa these days, so why not go for him?

Tarkowski is not a midfielder, and it never hurts to have extra bodies in the midfield.

And right now, Hourihane is a better player than at least 2 of them.

Westwood, Hendrick, Cork, Defour, Arfield & Marney is plenty I feel now. We just need a central defender and a pacy winger/forward.

Remember when had Marney, Jones and Arfield? God, we've come a long way.

And Marvin Bartley would still be 4th choice. :)

I reckon we should be in for anyone who can score a hat-trick....common sense.

I was watching the highlights the other day and one of them looked good, possibly called Andre ?? Young one they have brought through think he was a striker.

Now that's what would make Tarkowski look like a midfielder.

If you're going to overstock one position, then midfield is it. It's like pitching in baseball. You can never have too much of it. There's more wear and tear in the midfield than anywhere else.
