Looks a talent! I especially liked the way he laid the ball off/out wide in run up to his first.

He took them both very well.
English football is so strong so far down the leagues. That was good to watch. No other country has such a strong 5th division.

Some nice football in there by Wrexham! Impressed. Also liked the fact there were some strong challenges where the ref didn't hesitate in letting the play run on. There were a few challenges there transferred to the premier league, where the tackled player would've been screaming for their mother and the manager claiming arrests should be made.

I don't know whether anyone spotted it but when Wrexham get the ball back ahead of the second goal, the Bromley player challenged is ex-Claret George Porter.

Yes! I had to do a Google search to make sure it was him.ClaretTony wrote:I don't know whether anyone spotted it but when Wrexham get the ball back ahead of the second goal, the Bromley player challenged is ex-Claret George Porter.

Real tackle from the midfielder to turn over possession for the second. Great ball through too.

Re: Massanka's goals for Wrexham
Excellent game for him. First goal he helped to make with dropping off & laying the ball out to the left then getting into the box late and in space. Second goal was made by the challenge on Porter in midfield but Massanka found the space between the two defenders nicely and timed the run and finish. Well done to him.
He had good movement on his first chance too (c 2.00 into this) where Wrexham get a quick break after a misplaced pass & the ball comes out to the right, Massanka stays beyond his man then come late in front of him to get the header in. Mind- what the Bromley right back is doing backing off there I dont know- needs a rocket for that.
As per other comments - nice to see the ref letting the game flow after a few fair collisions rather than stopping it for mardy superstars.

George Porter has certainly slipped down the leagues. Seems to happen to so many. Zavron Hines?ClaretTony wrote:I don't know whether anyone spotted it but when Wrexham get the ball back ahead of the second goal, the Bromley player challenged is ex-Claret George Porter.

Good penalty stop too, by the Wrexham keeper.
It's Andy Dibble's, ex Citeh keepers son.

Yes two good finishes, I might have a dabble at Torquay next Saturday.
