Why what's happened to Ash Barnes?

if we are playing one up top he should be the one, we don't have anyone good enough to link the midfield to Barnes, not rocket science

Given our current squad just can't understand why Barnes is not played as the No 10 with Hendrick out wide left

Maybe for the reason that Barnes is a striker and is not creative enough to be a No 10 and Hendrick would be worse out left than he is in his current position.

He's not wrong (the OP). Just 23 games too late. Blindingly obvious that we have needed a proper nr. 10. Hopefully ,even happy clappers will finally agree.

How can Hendrick be any worse out left than in his current position - it's just not working for him in a role he has never played before

That no.10 we require would not work in the way dyche likes to play.

of course it would, we just need competition for Hendrick because at the moment he is a shoe in regardless of form (I think Hendrick had a very good start to the season but in the last 10 games he's gone off the boil, it's coincided with Brady getting injured)

Nothing hes just not good enough, Look at the goals scored amongst all our strikers tells you we need better

It's our only position where we don't have 2 players pushing for the 1 spot.
A marquee signing in the no 10 role is the missing link in this great side of ours ..

I don't think our strikers are that bad the problem is we aren't creating many chances so Harry Kane could be up front for us and still struggle. This new loan signing looks promising so may give us another outlet, and of course Brady is a big miss.

I can’t understand why Defour isn’t in the number 10 role instead of Hendricks. I would switch them around because Defour is far more creative - (like a Peter Noble for older posters).

Danny Ings would fit in seamlessly and add the pace and nouse we require in that position.

Shame he won't be coming back.
