Newcastle Utd Transport
Vamooz are now running a bus to Newcastle, setting off from the turf at 15:45 and the price currently stands at £31.04, possibly falling to £20 if anybody is interested

Re: Newcastle Utd Transport
And the supporters organisations are running coaches considerably cheaper and they are not a company making profit but organisations that feed money back into the club in various ways.

I would prefer to travel on supporters organisations, however the majority are unfortunately bookedClaretTony wrote:And the supporters organisations are running coaches considerably cheaper and they are not a company making profit but organisations that feed money back into the club in various ways.

Re: Newcastle Utd Transport
Central clarets £25
Re: Newcastle Utd Transport
I’m from Burnley so there’s no way I could get back from central lancs as I can’t drive. Unfortunately Vamooz is the only option for those who can’t make it to central lancs/ can’t drive as the train is also extortionately priced, and can’t get us back the same nightClaretTricks wrote:Central clarets £25

As a backup, i think these are fine, but i would doubt they would ever replace the supporters club busesClaretTony wrote:And the supporters organisations are running coaches considerably cheaper and they are not a company making profit but organisations that feed money back into the club in various ways.

Re: Newcastle Utd Transport
I completely agree! I usually use Burnley Supporters Club, however have only secured a tickets for Newcastle last week due to changes in the rota at work, and all seats on the coaches had been taken by then. I would never wish for a company to take over an organisation which is beneficial to our football club and it’s fansZizkovClaret wrote:As a backup, i think these are fine, but i would doubt they would ever replace the supporters club buses

Re: Newcastle Utd Transport
I will buy a ticket on this coach, but need to ask.
I get paid on the 30th, does anyone know whether I can buy a ticket on the day or day before (If any are left)?

Re: Newcastle Utd Transport
Has anyone used this service yet?
I know someone wasn't happy with the first game they did at United but didn't give reasons.
I presume it's just buses rather than coaches?

Tickets for the coach are booked in advance, they’re on your mobile phone on the vamooz app, however they don’t take payment until the day of the gameUpTheClaretsFCBK wrote:I will buy a ticket on this coach, but need to ask.

Sorry, I mean the match ticket.Terrybfc wrote:Tickets for the coach are booked in advance, they’re on your mobile phone on the vamooz app, however they don’t take payment until the day of the game
I want to go, but I can't afford to buy my ticket until the 30th.
Re: Newcastle Utd Transport
I haven’t bought a ticket yet because the coach needs ~40 people to run and I wouldn’t like to be out of pocket if it wasn’t running, I presume it has around 30 people booked on at the moment. I think the club sell tickets until the morning of the game, however I’m unsureUpTheClaretsFCBK wrote:Sorry, I mean the match ticket.

Re: Newcastle Utd Transport
I left it too late to book with the supporters clubs so used this service for the Man city game. Was spot on and actually worked out a bit cheaper as the bus was completely filled up (plus there's money off on your first trip). We parked up in the car park with the other coaches (was envisaging being dropped off somewhere nearby but they'd sorted everything out officially which was good). Think they're running a proper coach for Newcastle given the distance; it was a normal double decker bus for Man City. Certainly worth trying as a back-up.
