See that Mark Hughes has had a big impact on the Saints. Hanging on in this game.

Will he come out after the game and slag the pitch and opposition off deflecting from his own inadequacies?

A sneaky 1-0 against the run of play.

Was just about to post how they have perked up 2nd half.......1-0. Think they'll win comfortably now.

Didn't realise there are no replays at this stage.

Wigan did everything other than score in the first half and you just knew what was going to happen.

Looked to have lost their cutting edge up top whereas saints have found theirs.

Great pen save could inspire Wigan?

FA Cup quarter finals after knocking out premier league clubs. Chance of a wembley trip.
Half empty stadium. They don't deserve a football club!

He's taken them to Wembley in his first game in charge.

An FA Cup semi final at Wembley, I repeat an FA Cup semi final at Wembley!

I would hire my arse out for an hour in a Canal street Gloryhole for one of these.

The curse of the UTC poster, knew when I put it in on the saints would have a change in fortune. They couldn't play any worse in the 2nd half mind.

Ha, there is no doubt Southampton are/were bad today.

Which adds to my frustration, Cup runs, FA Cup semi-finals, they are crap, we aren't...I want one!

Its what you get if you are dumb enough to have rugby teams churning it up
Reading also have a dire pitch chasing the extra cash from London Irish.
Unfortunately as Wigan have the same owner as the rugby club they are stuck with a pitch that the Lashers would be proud of.
