My experience using iPhone on this forum has become unbearable over the past week or so.
I get the “Congratulations” window which then takes me this this page you can see below. Have the ads changed and there’s a bug?

I'm not an expert but I don't think there is anything the site managers here can do about it.
The problem, I believe, lies in the safari app being hacked and taking you to the offending sites. It's Apple's fault, not the website.
Anyone with more knowledge than me can put me right on this. I'm not sure by a long way.

I use Safari on my IPad for this site with no current problems. I’m not being redirected from any other sites I’ve been on that I’ve noticed?
I thought it was usually an issue with offending code within adverts? I’m not expert either, but it’s crap on IPhone right now.

I only have this problem on this site and when i stream football, but stream sites have done this for years. It's just one of the cons of having to live stream sports.
This site runs like Claretsmad did at the end of it's life but in this case, only on my iphone and not all other platforms like CM.

Every now and then I get the advert for iPhone testing but not regular and ONLY since I got an IPhone so it is Apple and not the site. I would clear the site cookies and your Browser Cookies/ cache. I only visit the site when i’m On my phone and it is certainly usable and no where near CM towards the end.

It's very much Apple I'm afraid.

No it doesn't - nothing like. We get occasional problems and deal with them when people report them.

With all due respect Tony, it does on my iphone. It wasn't a criticism of the mods, or even the site. It was me describing the issues I have had with this site. CM was difficult to use on all platforms. This site works absolutely fine on my ipad and home and work computers using Edge and firefox.

As someone further up the thread said, it appears to be an Apple issue rather than a site issue then.

The issue is with the website and not the phones. There are improvements to the website security settings that can eliminate the pop up ads people are getting.
I've emailed Tony and let him know what the Web admins need to do. Simple stuff really but it will improve the performance.
We can all then carry on enjoying imploding turtles comments.

The problem with the site is that there are people who hack the code for advertisers ( we had a big problem with those from dafabet for example which is why you don't see them on here anymore ) and those hackers target the security weaknesses in iphones.
I've added the urls from the screen shots provided to the blocking list( many thanks to TheOriginalLongsider and Claretforever for those). That will hopefully resolve the problem for those who've not still got the old code cached in their iphones.

No idea I wouldn’t instal it though I can live with a few adverts for the sake of the site. I only had a couple of issues with my previous phone (windows Phone)and none for about a year or more until I upgraded to my current phone so I know it is my phone. If it became a hassle and the site unusable I would maybe consider it but getting an iPhone tester advert every so often I can live with.

It is platform specific and certain IPhones seem to be affected more, mine is infrequent and unobtrusive so very usable. I wonder if it is down to the age or model of the phone mine is an X so fairly new

Have you reported it to us? The more detail we get, the quicker and easier it can be dealt with.

I’m getting the occasional ‘win an iPhone X by testing the iPhone 9’ offer. I just sweep it away and re-enter the site. Has anyone tried to win one?

Since the last Wednesday there have been problems with other websites on certain devices. Mine coincided with apple’s update on Tuesday evening.
Whether people are using WIFI or mobile data has also had an affect on the re-occurring issue.
I have also been getting the iPhone advert occasionally on UTC

Apparently, I’ve won one.
Despite rejecting this wonderful offer, I’m still tedirected to other sites.
Any chance mods can look into it?
I’m aware there has been another thread recently, and I tried to add to it, but I keep winning the bloody iPhone.

I don’t think there is much the mods can do apart from add the url if you have it. It is a weakness on IPhones when it comes to security I don’t think any other phones are affected I cleared my browser history and the site cache yesterday afternoon and have only had 1 advert since.
