Rashford's Goal

Post by Claret-On-A-T-Rex » Thu Jun 07, 2018 10:31 pm

I'm reading that Rashford hit the ball a certain way to pull off that incredible goal...

"His contact with the ball was delivered in a way that many players have copied from Cristiano Ronaldo, striking over the shot and applying power, first and foremost, but in a way deliberately designed to make the shot dip like a beach ball in the final part of the trajectory."

Does anybody have a link to an explanation or a video on how to do this type of shot?

No but I believe rashford will be almost as good as the great man himself however he needs to be playing that role week in week out and not a bit part player like at utd. The younger generation of England players look good imo

But as Lee Dixon said at half time, the keeper should have saved it. With my Clarets specs on I have no doubt Nick would have saved it.

I used to dip shots by toe popping the ball.

I used to dip a ball by stopping the follow through. Of the boot obviously. It’s all physics.
